Dahlou Ipcar

She was born in vermont in 1917, She loved painting and art since she was very young. From the age of 5 - 21 she made many diffrent pieces of art and all of those were displayed in the Musem of modern art in New York City. She lives in maine on Gorgetown Island with her husband Adolph.

William King

William King was born in February 9,1768 in Scarboro Maine.He went to school until he was 13 then he worked in the Topsham saw mill. He became the largest ship owner in Maine. He owned allot of real estate and was a founder of baths first bank. He was a major general in the war of 1812. He was maines first governor until 1821. He died on June 17,1852.

The history of carpetbaggers and scalawags. Carpetbaggers got there name because of the cloth bag that they carried there belongings in. They were northerners who were going south. The scalawags were the southerners. The name meant worthless live stock. They were also the people to support the federal reconstruction plan and cooperated with the blacks. Both of these groups of people were similar because they supported the reconstruction.

stanley steamer

The stanley steamer is a very old car. They were invented in 1896-1924 by francis edgar stanley in Kingfeild Maine. The first car started with a 20 horse power engine. The fastest speed they got out of the car was in 1906 and it was 127.6 this also led to fred marriots death because of a crash.

Things happen

Its been a while since I have written on this site. Ive done quite a few things since the last time. Ive had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out and had a rough recovery but its all good now. We started at 317 main street with guitar lessons, witch is great. We have been doing allot of work on reading and writing we also started in on science. We have also worked on looking into Nelson Mandela who is an amazing person. Also working on Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin. I have to say the best thing so far is the guitar its allot of fun to be able to learn something new to be able to do. So when I a, bored or something then I can just go play the guitar. This will help make weekends a little less boring. I also believe that since the last time I have written in here I have got a job working for a snowplowing company. I Still need to find another one till summer when I start my landscaping work. But yea so far the school year is going great with everything that we have done. We are planning on going on a few trips this coming week and I ready to get out the this awful town so its going to be a fun time.
